having spirit

Tumbling, Jumping, Dancing, and Cheering, 25 athletes competed this week for a spot on the 2022-2023 cheer squad consisting of 12 Varsity and 9 JV cheer members.

The tryout process involved a chant, a cheer, jumps, tumbling, and a dance. The cheer, chant, and a minute long dance had different motions to showcase.

Athletes were mentored by senior cheer members for a mock tryout before facing the judges on the final day. The judges evaluated the candidates based on their individual and group performances.

Cheer results were made public after the final tryout process was complete.

Cheering for the team, senior Kaedyn, is seen during the Warren varsity football team last Friday night. The senior cheerleaders wore slashes that displayed their name and the word senior. They wore these as the Warren football Varsity team played for the last time.

With sweat, tears, and hard continuous effort the Warren football lost their last game. They gave it their all and the cheerleaders cheered them on the whole way through.
